Reflection of Nature

 

Root Chess Set is inspired by tree forms. All of the pieces are executed from different size balsa triangles which have the same ratio. Every piece has been analyzed and formed to reflect each piece's movement and character. Furthermore, simplicity was the main concern of the design.

My aim was to use nature's principles and bring the abstract form of trees to a chess set.
